Mud Monkey Studio is more than just a pottery studio; it's a journey of passion and creativity rooted deeply in Rupal's love for nature and animals. Founded by Rupal, a former architect turned pottery enthusiast, Mud Monkey emerged during the challenging times of the COVID lockdown. Rupal's transition from architecture to pottery was fueled by a desire for meaningful creation and a pursuit of joy in life's simple pleasures. Inspired by her transformative experience at a farm studio and guided by her mentor Sandeep Manchekar, Rupal embarked on a mission to craft delightfully quirky clayware that brings joy to both creator and consumer alike. Each piece of pottery reflects her love for the natural world and this remains a cornerstone of our brand.

Well, I'm the kind of person who dives into things headfirst and thinks later. I make decisions on the spur of the moment—that's just my personality! I'm pretty goofy, just like a monkey. I can't sit still and I'm always cheerful, jolly, and happy. So, the name 'Mud Monkey' reflects all of that. It's me, the monkey making clay pottery!
